Osmington Capital Partners (“OCP”) is a Toronto based investment platform that invests across various asset classes including real estate, private equity and venture capital. We are industry agnostic, and invest across the capital structure to provide maximum flexibility to our investee companies and projects. We have the ability to take control or minority positions, and respond quickly to opportunities. OCP is institutional in nature but entrepreneurial in character.
OCP is an affiliate of Osmington Inc. Formed in 1995, Osmington is a private commercial real estate and investment company controlled by David Thomson, the chairman of Thomson Reuters. Led by Chief Executive Officer Lawrence Zucker, the Company’s investment focus is on value creation. Signature projects for the Company include the retail redevelopment of Toronto’s Union Station, the purchase and relocation of the Winnipeg Jets and the development of the world’s largest hardware technology innovation hub, Catalyst 137.

Vlad Amurjuev
MANAGING PARTNER, OSMINGTON CAPITAL PARTNERS
Vlad Amurjuev is Managing Partner at OCP. Vlad sources, structures, and executes equity and debt investments in real estate, private equity, and venture capital. Vlad sits on the boards of various companies and investment committees and has transacted on more than $1.0 billion of investments.
Prior to his current role, Vlad served as CFO of Mexico Club I LP, a CAD$150m private equity club fund for Canadian pension funds. Prior to that, Vlad was on the investment team of a large Canadian real estate owner and developer.
Vlad has co-founded the Modern Miracle Foundation, a Canadian registered charity providing financial assistance to people in need of IVF treatment. Vlad holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The Schulich School of Business as well as CPA, CA and CFA designations. Vlad lives in Toronto with his wife and daughter.
Lawrence Zucker
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, OSMINGTON INC.
Lawrence Zucker is Chief Executive Officer of Osmington, an investment company primarily focused on real estate. He has transacted on more than $2.5 billion in real estate and has built a portfolio of investments in real estate, hospitality, technology, green energy and entertainment. Among his accomplishments is the joint venture to relocate the Atlanta Thrashers to Winnipeg to become the Winnipeg Jets, and the acquisition and development of the commercial and retail rights for Toronto’s Union Station. Prior to joining Osmington, Lawrence practiced real estate and land development law in Toronto.
Lawrence is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and sits on a number of private and not for profit boards. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from McGill University and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of British Columbia.
Jason Levin
PRESIDENT, OSMINGTON INC.
Jason Levin is President at Osmington Inc. a private real estate investment and development company owned by David Thomson, chairman of Thomson Reuters. Jason is responsible for a team of investment professionals that source and execute equity and debt investments in real estate, private equity and venture. In addition, Jason is a member of the board of a number of investee companies on behalf of Osmington.
Prior to his current position, Jason worked as a Vice President at Empire Communities, one of the largest Toronto based residential real estate developers. Jason’s responsibilities included acquisitions and sourcing all the capital requirements for this growing business.
Jason’s real estate career began at Canadian Mortgage Capital Corporation, a Toronto based, non-bank real estate lender. In his 7 years with the company Jason structured and closed over $1 billion in private and institutional debt. Jason holds a Master of Business Administration degree from The Schulich School of Business at York University. Born in South Africa, Jason now lives in Toronto with his wife and three children.
John Tory
SPECIAL ADVISOR, OSMINGTON INC.
John Tory has enjoyed a multi-faceted career as a lawyer, chief executive, corporate director, broadcaster and from 2014 to 2023 served as Mayor of Toronto, North America’s 4th largest city. Equally important to John has been his volunteer involvement in the community whether as a founder and Chair of Civic Action, volunteer Chair and Commissioner of the Canadian Football League, Chair of the Toronto United Way campaign, Chair of three campaigns for St. Michael’s Hospital or Chair of the capital campaign for the TIFF Bell Lightbox.
As Mayor he oversaw the achievement of an unprecedented $40 billion three government transit agreement, significant new housing initiatives, a passionate commitment to the unity of the City, a deep respect for its diversity and a commitment to sound financial management.
As Mayor, John was also a champion for the City’s economy, campaigning for investment especially in the fast-growing tech and financial services sectors and was a committed and reliable partner for the Arts and Film sectors, among many others.
Jordan Bizouati
VICE PRESIDENT, INVESTMENTS & ASSET MANAGEMENT, OSMINGTON INC.
Jordan Bizouati joined Osmington in 2014 and has over ten years of experience in real estate investments and development. He is responsible for managing Osmington’s existing investments and also evaluates new investment opportunities in real estate, venture capital and private equity. Jordan sits on the investment committees for a number of Osmington investments. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours degree from the Schulich School of Business.
Jonathan Weinbaum
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, INVESTMENTS & ASSET MANAGEMENT, OSMINGTON INC.
Jonathan joined Osmington in 2019 and supports the company on real estate investment and development matters. Prior to joining Osmington, Jonathan articled at a downtown Toronto law firm where he focused on corporate, securities and real estate law. He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2020 and holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, a Bachelor of Laws from King’s College London, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph.
Sam Zucker
INVESTMENT ANALYST, OSMINGTON INC.
Sam is an Investment Analyst at Osmington Inc., a private investment company focused on real estate and private capital opportunities. Prior to joining Osmington in 2024, Sam was an associate at a leading bay street law firm advising entrepreneurs, emerging and growth stage companies and their investors on unique issues involved in venture capital deals across Canada and the United States. Sam was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2022 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Smith School of Business and Juris Doctor degree from Queen’s University.
